5K race

This past week Nick was traveling and this mamma was solo mission with my two favorite boys! We were so busy that I totally forgot to blog. The boys and I did a short 5K race last Sunday to support a little girl that has Leukemia here in Wichita. She is the cutest little thing and is doing great as of right now. But I will say there is something about running a race for a good cause that helps a person run just a little faster and put aside the pain and tiredness. There were over 200 runners, the boys and I did great! It was so cool seeing all the moms with our big strollers end

up at the front of the race. It's amazing what great shape we are all really in. We were passing by runners left and right with our big ole' strollers pushing an extra 50-60 pounds. Now thats what I call a real race!

After the race there were so many fun things for the kiddos! Lunden got his face painted like a pirate and also got to paint his own canvas painting.
