Difference from one year to the next....

It is hard to think how this year is so much different then last year at this very moment.  As I am watching all of the new prime time shows rolls out on all the networks, feel the air start to cool, pumpkins and fall appearing in every store I have entered in the past week I realize I didn't get to enjoy any of this last year.  Last year at this time Nick and I were living in the hospital for two months with our sick little man Bronx.  I didn't realize how many things we missed out on in 60 days this time of year, ALOT!  I am so thankful that everyone in my little family bubble is healthy, happy, and full of joy.  I couldn't be anymore blessed.  But will never forget about the little things that people take for granted when they have never had a sick child before.  Life can change pretty quickly in a matter of moments.

My two, soon to be three, little boys are the absolute joy of my life.  Every moment of everyday is so unpredictable I don't even know where to start......here are just a few fun moments the boys have had in the past couple weeks!
Lunden's first dentist appointment, oh boy more on this later!  They say to bring your kiddos to the dentist for the first time at three....I would advise to bring them much earlier!
Lunden and his buddies Mason and Tripp at the State Fair after they all just had to get their faces painted.  What is it with face paint and little boys?  I have no idea, but Lunden always insists on getting a pirate face so he looks like Jake from Jake and the Netherland Pirates.
The boys sitting in a huge tractor tire.  These city boys were so excited to check out the tractors!
This past weekend I took the boys to Art and Autumn.  Lunden did art projects for over an hour.  He loves anything to do with glue, scissors, clay, scotch tape, oh who am I kidding he loves anything that is messy!
Lunden has taught Bronx how to use water paints.  This is one of their favorite afternoon activities together!
Lunden is the best shopping partner I could ask for!  If only he could drive there himself!
The first day of pre-school was a success.  Since he went last year two days a week he acted like he owned the school!  He is a big timer this year going three days a week.  We have only had one little incident this year so far......he got caught peeing off of the sandbox during recess.  Oh boy he is totally potty trained but apparently we gave him a little to much freedom at the park this summer and in our back yard by the pool, oops!  I will take the fifth on this one!
Lunden now thinks we need stools in front of every bathroom sink in our house so he can get a drink whenever he feels like it.  If only Bronx wouldn't watch every move Lunden makes we might just be able to accommodate him.  But for now its just not happenin'!
Pretty sure they are the best buds!
Priceless....this is the new way Bronx likes to shop!  When he is tired, he is tired even with Lunden squeaking the horn one thousand times through out the store he still doesn't wake up!

So like I said these might just be a few small adventures we have taken and not mean a lot to an average person, but to me they mean the world.  Anytime I get to spend time with my boys and enjoy little daily adventures I get a smile on my face thinking how lucky I am to have a healthy family knowing where I was just 365 days ago.....
